Best Music Award to Metropia composer

Krister Linder, who has made the music for Atmo’s upcoming film Metropia, recieved the award for Best Music at the Stockholm International Film festival for his music for Downloading Nancy, directed by Johan Renck.

”A composer whose work helps to lift a heavy subject matter and invites the audience into a complex landscape of emotional trauma…” was the jurys motivation.

”I’m incredibly honoured to receive this award”, says Krister Linder. ”I love working with film in different styles, and this will open doors to many more exciting projects”.

In addition to music for Metropia, Krister Linder has made the music to the Atmo-produced film Gitmo – music which received a first price in the 2006 European Soundtrack Awards.
